AppLovin at GDC: Success with games on Apple TV

by Katie Jansen on Mar 16, 2016

If you’re at GDC this week, be sure to stop by Thursday’s panel “How Game Developers Can Make Money on Apple TV” at 2:00 in Room 2009 of West Hall. The panel is moderated by our own Mark Rosner, Chief Revenue Officer, who will be joined by Jeff Earle, CEO of MobilityWare; Michael Ritter, SVP of Business Development at SGN; and Chris Akhavan, President of Publishing at Glu Mobile.

Naturally, they’ll drill down into the specifics of what works well on the Apple TV platform in terms of games. The group will also take on topics including how indie and large developers might need different strategies when it comes to monetizing on Apple TV and the types of games that are successful on this new platform. Of course you can also expect them to cover where they think the platform is going and what they think Apple will do over time to support tvOS devs.

Also, be sure to stop by the Mobile Madness party we’re co-hosting with TUNE on Thursday night. There’s a reason why AppLovin is known for throwing the best parties in the business, and you can find out why at 620 Jones St.—a gorgeous rooftop bar overlooking the city. The party starts at 6:30 pm, and we’ll be serving up some extra special drinks, including one just for St. Patty’s Day. Be there or be square!
