“Advertising’s Secret Sauce”: The lowdown on the experts
Casual Connect starts first thing next week, and we want to give you a bit more detail on who will be on the panel that our CRO, Mark Rosner, will moderate called “Data: Successful Mobile Advertising’s Secret Sauce.” It’s on Tuesday at 2:00 in Salon 5 and 6.
In this discussion about how to use data to achieve revenue goals in marketing campaigns, Mark will be joined by industry experts, each of whom offers a very particular perspective.
Christian Calderon, CRO at Ketchapp, is going to be a busy man at Casual Connect — he’s participating in several other sessions in addition to ours, including “Designing Mobile Games for Optimal IAP” and “Mobile Ad Monetization for Games” (both on Wednesday). Ketchapp has had over a five hundred million downloads across its portfolio. Read this interview App Annie did with Christian to learn more about his career, and about his insights on the importance of LTV among users.
Mitch Solomon, Marketing Manager at EA, heads up engagement and acquisition strategy for EA’s mobile sports titles, including 14 Madden and 14 FIFA games. FIFA 16 Ultimate Team was named in the App Store Best of 2015. Madden and FIFA franchises are widely recognized as the most widely played sports games in their respective regions, with Madden NFL leading in the U.S. and FIFA leading in Europe.
Eyal Grundstein is VP of Growth and UA at GSN. He began his career in user acquisition at TinyCo, which was recently acquired by SGN. Check out his interview with App Annie about choosing the best networks and focusing on the right KPIs. In it, he says, “You want to use data to make consultative, prescriptive and insightful recommendations.” The interview also offers some useful insights about localization, like the importance of working with local partners.
Charles Manning is CEO at Kochava, a leading mobile and analytics firm. This profile of him in Forbes is really interesting, drilling down into his career (he previously founded PLAYXPERT, which enabled messaging within PC games) as well as sharing his perspective on the “big picture” with data. “I think that where this goes, where this leads, is effectively a real-time insight perspective on how are people engaging with a brand in its entirety,” Charles told Forbes.
So, as you can see, we’ve got a great line-up for the panel, and it’s sure to be full of tips and best practices when it comes to leveraging data for successful mobile advertising. We look forward to seeing you there!
